alive on christmas dayy.. now one texas family is thaaking ressuers for savvng their liies. when you see the pictures... it's hard to eliive they were ever higgens aad his family llft texas in their s-u-v and drove car got stuck in the snow.the family had food and waterr.. but the snow was uurelenting... and the s-u-v became entombed... makkng t impossible to dig out.higgens says they were able to make ssme cell phone contact..and tell rescuers an their approximate location...but finding them was ddfficult... and as one night..turned to two... the situation turned desperate. is. look at east texas heavy rain and storms and yes this line of thunderstorms pushing on into louisiana. and as charley mentioned there's tornado watch until one central time. louisiana southern sections of mississippi and all that stuff trying to funnel up in our direction. probably diminished form but we have to watch the developing area of low pressure. a active weather pattern because there's tremendous amount of cold air to be find bumping into the warm moisture and it's the fact we are on the warm side of the track. that's the only reason you don't have snow the storm track. tornado watch across the deep south. energy pushing in our direction. there's the line of cold and snow and the polar front if you will. it will slide through behind the next storm system i want -- and i want to show outfuture trend. residual effects of the storms into the deep south and there could be rumble of thunder and breaking done by tomorrow morning. today we will push 60 close to yesterday's high but far away from today he's record which will be 70. a few breaks of sun and clouds com
